What works well in the blanks lane.
The blanks route is built around clean, natural-fiber garments with predictable dye behavior. A consistent blank means a consistent result.
Prep Checklist
Send the garment ready to dye.
A properly prepped blank moves faster through the queue. These five steps eliminate the most common reasons a project gets delayed or redirected.
- Wash and dry the garment once before sending — never send brand new, unwashed blanks.
- Remove any hangtags, stickers, or packaging labels from inside and outside.
- Note the brand, style code, and colorway on a slip of paper inside the package.
- No fabric softener. It coats fibers and reduces dye uptake.
- Confirm the fiber content from the tag, not the product listing — they sometimes differ.
