Hand-dyed variation belongs to the piece
Color placement, saturation, pattern movement, edge marks, and small shifts are expected. Those natural differences are not defects.

Quick Read
Color placement, saturation, pattern movement, edge marks, and small shifts are expected. Those natural differences are not defects.
Request an eligible return within seven calendar days of delivery. The item must remain unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and free of odors, hair, or damage.
Approved custom dye work, send-in services, auction purchases, discounted items, and garments altered after purchase cannot be returned for preference or fit.
Send clear photos of the item, package, and shipping label within three calendar days. Donut will review the problem and provide the next step.
Send-In Work
A clean blank, a thrifted jacket, an already-printed tee, and a collaboration run do not move through the same process. Review comes first so the garment, timing, and accepted risks are clear.
Start with the band, business, thrift, blanks, or printed-tee lane so the right details and risks are reviewed.
An inquiry does not reserve studio time or authorize a shipment. Wait for the agreed scope, price, timing, and shipping instructions.
The customer is responsible for the garment until tracking shows delivery to the studio. Use enough insurance to cover its documented replacement value.
Donut checks, photographs, packs, and returns the finished piece with any care or result notes that apply to that garment.
Returns & Order Problems
One-off and custom work needs a clearer return policy than ordinary mass-produced clothing. These rules separate an eligible ready-made return from a problem Donut needs to correct.
Email connect@donutdyes.com within seven calendar days of delivery and wait for return instructions before mailing anything back.
The following purchases cannot be returned because the piece was made, altered, or sold for a specific customer or event.
Contact the studio within three calendar days of delivery. Include the order number and clear photos of the item, outer package, inner packaging, and shipping label.
Approved refunds return to the original payment method after the item is received and inspected. Original shipping is not refunded on a preference return.
Shipping
Ready-made orders, auction wins, and custom projects move on different schedules. A shipping label can also appear before the carrier completes its first scan.
Online checkout currently accepts shipping addresses in the United States. International delivery is not available through checkout at this time.
Ready-to-ship pieces normally leave the Brandon, Mississippi studio within three to five business days after cleared payment.
Tracking is sent to the checkout email when the shipping label is created. Carrier movement may take up to two business days to appear.
If tracking has not moved for seven business days, or a delivered package cannot be found after 48 hours, email the studio with the order number.
Use a trackable service and packaging that protects the piece. A customer remains responsible for an authorized preference return until it reaches the studio.
Cart & Checkout
The store rechecks price, option, and availability during checkout. This matters because many finished pieces are one-of-one.
Adding a piece to the cart does not hold it, remove it from the shop, or guarantee that it will still be available later.
A finished-piece price covers the listed dyed garment. A blank-canvas price covers only the base garment unless the product page explicitly says otherwise.
Stripe processes checkout payment. Donut Dyes does not receive or store the full card number used at checkout.
An order may be cancelled and refunded if inventory is unavailable, pricing is materially incorrect, payment appears fraudulent, or the order cannot be shipped safely or lawfully.
Custom & Send-In Work
Blanks, thrift finds, printed tees, band runs, and business work each carry different material, timing, and approval needs.
An inquiry starts a review. It does not reserve a slot, approve a garment, set a final price, or authorize shipment.
Send garments clean, completely dry, and free of pet hair, smoke, fragrance, loose debris, and items left in pockets.
Dye results depend on fiber content, original color, prior washing, coatings, repairs, stains, age, print method, and hidden wear.
Donut will use reasonable care while an approved garment is in studio custody and will communicate if the garment reveals a new problem.
Live Auctions
The auction room shows the active lot, accepted bids, bidder nicknames, and the server-controlled closing state. Review these rules before joining a live round.
Bidders must be at least 18 years old, able to enter a binding purchase, and able to receive the item at a United States shipping address.
A submitted bid is not accepted until the room confirms it. The next valid amount shown in the room is the minimum accepted bid at that moment.
The highest valid accepted bid at close is the winning bid, subject to review for fraud, a material listing error, or a documented technical failure.
Auction purchases are final sale except when the lot arrives damaged, incorrect, or materially different from its listing.
