Collaboration / Brand

Business Collaborations

Create a focused small-batch run for a shop, studio, restaurant, gym, salon, or local brand that wants merch to feel custom instead of generic.

  • Small batch
  • Brand-aware
  • Use-case led

Business Collabs

Local brands that want merch to feel intentional.

Retail

Limited pieces for a shop wall

Boutiques and studios can use small runs as a higher-touch retail moment instead of another blank-logo tee.

Service

Staff gear that still feels custom

Salons, gyms, cafes, and restaurants can keep the look wearable while giving the team something more considered.

Launch

Capsules tied to an opening or drop

A new location, anniversary, event, or product launch can get a focused dye run with a clear visual lane.

Client

Gifts people actually keep

Client-facing pieces work best when they feel artful, useful, and connected to the business without shouting.

Event

Merch for one good reason

Markets, pop-ups, retreats, and private events can use a short run that feels specific to the moment.

Corduroy button-up shirt hand dyed with violet, blue, orange, lime, and dark color
Finished Donut Dyes archive garment. Color placement will naturally vary across a run.

Finished-Work Reference

A finished garment with the material still visible.

This archive piece shows how the dye work sits on a structured garment in a real studio photo. It is presented as a production reference, not as an unverified client project.

Client / project

Quantity
One finished garment; shown as a product and material reference
Deadline

Creative direction
A structured corduroy layer with violet, blue, orange, lime, and dark tonal marks

Planning Baseline

What to expect before requesting a quote.

Smallest useful run
Twelve pieces for a coordinated staff or retail run. Smaller gifting projects can be reviewed separately.
Normal lead time
Plan for six to eight weeks after garments, size counts, and direction are approved.
Budget expectation
Quotes include the selected garments and dye work. Printing, custom labels, individual packing, and delivery are added when requested.
Rush availability
Timelines under five weeks are reviewed against garment stock and the studio calendar. Rush work is not guaranteed and may cost more.

These are planning guidelines rather than a standing wholesale sheet. Garment sourcing, decoration, packaging, freight, tax, and the approval schedule determine the final quote.

Brand Brief

The cleaner the brief, the stronger the run.

Business projects need enough structure to protect the brand, the deadline, and the final use case while still leaving room for hand-dyed variation.

WHO

Business name, location, and what the pieces are for.

WHAT

Garment type, quantity range, size range, and budget comfort.

HOW

Brand colors, mood references, and any colors to avoid.

WHEN

Deadline, event date, retail date, or internal handoff date.

FINISH

Approval needs, packaging notes, and whether pieces are staff, retail, or client-facing.

Partnership Flow

A more polished path from idea to finished pieces.

Clarify the use case

Start by separating staff gear, retail product, event merch, and gifting so the run is scoped correctly.

Translate the brand

Pull from the business palette and mood without flattening the work into generic promo merchandise.

Confirm the run

Set garment type, count, timeline, approval rhythm, and any practical constraints before production starts.

Finish for handoff

Prepare the pieces for retail, team use, gifting, or event pickup with clear expectations around variation.

Order Details

Decide the finishing details before production starts.

Resale and wholesale

Retail runs are welcome for review. Pricing depends on garment, quantity, finishing, and delivery needs; resale use does not automatically create a fixed wholesale discount.

Labels and packaging

Standard pieces keep their original garment labels and are folded for bulk handoff. Supplied labels, hangtags, size stickers, gift notes, or individual bags can be reviewed and quoted before production.

Size runs

Approve the final size breakdown before garments are ordered. Changes after sourcing can affect availability, cost, and the delivery date, especially when several garment styles are involved.

Approval rounds

The standard plan includes one consolidated written approval of palette, garment, quantities, and reference direction before dye work begins. Extra samples or revised directions may add time and cost.
